Joining Mastodon
Since October 2022, Twitter, driven by a bored child with a fragile ego, has been slowly disintegrating. It probably has a long way to go. But I had enough when Musk killed the bird.
Joining Threads, Bluesky, or any other third-party owned social network is pointless — eventually it'll be Twitter all over again.
So I'm joining the only viable alternative, where I have full control over my own account — Mastodon.
Sure, there are fewer people than on Twitter. But they are also more engaged. And Mastodon doesn't have an algorithmic feed, which is nice.
